What we collect
We collect only what's needed to operate the service: your name, email, company details, identification documents for mandate purposes, and any content of messages you send us. When you visit the website, we may collect basic analytics (aggregated, non-personal) such as page views and device type. We do not run advertising trackers.
Why we process it
We process your data to deliver the virtual office service (contract performance), comply with Portuguese legal obligations around mandates and mail handling, and improve our website. We do not sell your data to third parties.
How long we keep it
We retain active customer data for the duration of your contract and, where Portuguese law requires, for a further period of up to ten years after the contract ends (accounting and fiscal retention obligations). Website analytics are retained for a maximum of 26 months.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Send any request to hello@madeirafriends.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) if you believe your rights have been infringed.
